Donated by Tlingit & Haida, formerly known as the Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. On September 3, 2016 approximately 1,000 visitors gathered in Kasaan on Prince of Wales Island for the rededication of Náay í'Waans (The Great House), better known as the Whale House. Canoes came from Kasaan, Klawock, Ketchikan, and even as far away as Juneau for the event.
