Generator room in the Beaver Falls power plant, October 30, 1954 The Beaver Falls power plant originally went on line in 1947 with two used, 2,500 kilowatt generators purchased from the City of Seattle. A major, three-million-dollar upgrade, begun in 1953 and completed the following year, substantially incresed the output and reliability of the plant. |
