Dock Street, circa 1916 Mike Martin's Sideboard saloon is at left, perched on the Dock Street right-of-way. His house, one of the first substantial residences built in Ketchikan, is visible at the Dock and Main intersection, where the Wells Fargo Bank is located today. Note the fancy electric sign on the Sideboard. Somebody sold a bunch of them in Ketchikan around this time. Another can be seen over the door of the Stedman Hotel, at left. |
