Baby Incubator, deluxe model, Mark III, which was purchased for Ketchikan General Hospital by Beta Sigma Phi sorority. It has been shipped from the factory in Cleveland, Ohio, and will arrive here within the next few days. Manufactured by the Gordon Armstrong Company, incorporated, the baby incubator is one of 19,000 in use all over the world. Ten years ago, the company produced the first incubator to be tested and approved by the Underwriters' laboratories and accepted by the American Medical association. Refinements in the original design make it the choice of most hospitals for general nursery uses, and have greatly simplified the care of premature infants." |
