Humerous Ketchikan Fire Department photo postcard. The image was created from a mixture of photo cutouts and elaborated with drawings. There is one man painting the activities of five firefighters doing a variety of activities and there is a house burning in the background. Left to Right: Bill Gabler painting a picture, Clark ? and another man playing marbles, two guys playing a finger string game (Cat's Cradle), and one fellow jumping up and down. Note: Bill Gabler is identied in writing on the back of the postcard. The postcard is a part of a large collection of photos and a photo album from the Emery and Clara Tobin family. There are images dating from 1920 to the late 1960's and look at various Ketchikan subjects. |
