George R. Jones, accompanied by his mother, wife, children, accepts the keys to a 1953 Ford sedan awarded by the Ketchikan Merchants Association. Mayor George H. Beck, M.J. Klepser, Arthur Bryant, and Jess Ison made the award. Jones was a Civil Aeronautics Administration employee at Annette. Jones, CAA employ at Annette for the past year, took possession of the 1953 Ford sedan which he was awarded by the Ketchikan Merchants Association last night. Jones and his family came here from Annette by plane and boat this forenoon. The award was made before a crowd estimated at 600 at the junction of Dock and Main streets. Judges were Mayor George H.
