Chief Johnson's residence and totem pole, circa 1909 View from Thomas Basin of Chief Johnson's totem pole and residence. Also seen is the Starr family residence with two level bay window. Note: the print is dated 1916. 2017 research indicates the the image is 1909 or up to a few years earlier. The Hamilton building is present in the right corner of the image. It appears on the 1909 tax rolls but was not here when Guthrie built his store next door (Block 25 Lot 2) in 1906. Date adjusted 08/16/2017 ERB. |
