Front Street with Grand Theater and Sideboard Bar, 1915 View of Front Street showing the water side with the Grand Theater and the Sideboard Bar. The Broken Coin (1915) is playing at the theater. Note from old finding aid: The "Sideboard Bar" and the Grand Theater (previously the Gross Theater, and before that a fur store) The only major change to the building was the addition of the marquee and the sign. Note the sharp contrast between the highly articulated theater, and the "plain" sideboard. |
