Description |
"Bob Skates." Double edged metal ice skates with leather straps. Etched into the sole of both skates is text reading, "601/ BOB SKATE/ HOVE/ ENGINEERING CO/ MPL CONN." Each skate is two pieces held together with a carriage bolt and a square nut. Originally there would have been leather straps at both the toe and heel. B is missing the toe strap. No real differentation between left and right. "Bob Skates" are used for stability when children are learning to skate. They have been in use since the early 1900's. |
