Description |
Rainbird Bar bowling shirt. The shirt is made of navy blue linen. It is short sleeved with a button closure and two front pockets. The buttons are made of white plastic. A bowling patch is sewn onto the proper left sleeve. The patch features a Rainbird with bowling pins. Text on the patch reads, "KETCHIKAN" above the bird, "'86" with the bird, and "ALASKA" below the bird. A handmade patch is sewn onto the back of the shirt. The design features a Rainbird with an umbrella and raindrops on off-white felt. The seed beads are black, grey, blue, light blue, yellow, green, and red. |

The Rainbird Bar team bowled at The Billiken Bowl, located at 600 Stedman Street. Team members included Amy Perez, Pearl Nordstrom, and others. Amy Perez beaded the Rainbird design on the back of the shirt. The shirt is dated by the date on the sleeve patch. |
